Ennor weather station is an architectural vanguard in the UK's war with climate and a celebration of 'fossilised wisdom'. Ennor, translating to ‘great island’, aims to collect the proverbial knowledge of the Isles of Scilly’s daffodil farmers; with them, teaching generation BETA that our escalating climate and weather can be harnessed for the better. In response to the brief, as a future architect, the weather station provides generation BETA with spaces that teach traditions that ground them within the physical world beneath them whilst the rest of the world is willing them to embrace an artificial version of it.
